Rafidi was spent countless years cooking anything but Arabic food all over the country, until 2017 when chef decided to open Albi. Inspired from his Palestinian family roots and his grandparents home cooking.
The menus are a creative update to traditional Arabic cuisine with Modern techniques utilizing the best the Mid-Atlantic as to offer. Michael Rafidi is the chef + owner of Albi located in Washington, D.C.’s Navy Yard neighborhood.
